Welcome to kig-o Yes! What Miss Kiki said. It is complicated and can be easy at the same time. It is completely up to the performer as to how much in depth they want to involve themselves.

  • User Avatar

That is completely understandable as I was unaware children were involved.

Quote from HyenaChan: “I have so much respect for any kig that goes out in gear. I'd love to take a few pictures out by my cherry blossom tree and car, but I don't really want my neighbors seeing me.” It is a matter of introducing the neighborhood to your hobbie without fear or shame. You'd be surprised at how receptive or accepting people are. kigurumionline.org/index.php/A…4e856d6c75ec6d6243f82a463 kokokurumi on our front steps.

Your hadatai or skinsuit is a great insulator cause the phone not to read electrical differences when touching finger to screen. I suspect you have a capacitive touch screen. Sweat opens the electrical circuit enabling your finger to work better!

    You need to sweat more!

Give yourself a break. This stuff isn't easy and takes time. energy and funds to get out of concept into physical form. Our doll concept for the studio started back in September of 2016 and that picture was taken a little over a year ago. kigurumionline.org/index.php/A…4e856d6c75ec6d6243f82a463 It took almost a year and a half to be it up the the point you see it here. Just little by slow gets you to finish phase.

Looking good, foam takes a bit of practice but you're doing great @Ren I can't wait to see what you've done in person! Here's some foam work I threw together today for a piece I'm debuting at Anime North 2019~ kigurumionline.org/index.php/A…4e856d6c75ec6d6243f82a463 As I said, it takes practice and I've been at it a tad longer than most.

Yer doing good! Trick is not to lose momentum on the project as so many in the past have done. Be part of the 1% that actually takes the mask from concept to completion.

Quote from Ren: “ I drew on a foam from dimensions shape you shared. I did cut around edge. It's look okay. It's depth is about 2 inches. I will cut depth turn into 1 inches. ” That looks GREAT!!!!

This is where the creative part of your life needs to kick in. Have fun and experiment as the studio did creating this! You may even innovate something that works even better Ren!!!

Quote from jack.derossi: “Hi, can the padding be bought and not made diy? How do you keep it on? And how you hide it down there?” Sorry Jack, we stopped producing pads after the costs and labor involved outweighed the overall costs. Plus shipping air around the world became cost prohibitive. Quote from Ren: “Cici, how did you make M-pad? I would like to know how draw shape and length of mpad like you did made.” Hey Ren, what we did with the sPad was take the dimensions of the mPad into account w…

Well? I never wear rompers for one. And from looking at the post ! I've refined my method to the process. Omitted the term romper and revised the pad count. Will be revising and updating underpinning list. Sorry for the confusion and remember not all bodies are equally shaped. You may need more or less padding depending on your physic.
