Well whats the point of having 2 of them going at the same time really, people should just decide if they want to have a fully open source map that people can edit at will or if they want a map that you actually got to ask to join. It is pointless doing both. Really, all of this would of been simpler if someone just contacted me directly (i am on many different messaging services and despite not checking fb every day if you message you will get through to me) and then it could of all been discus…

Hello all. First of all, i did get your pm but have been busy so have only got around to login in to get the details and update the map. I am a busy person, and even after asking for help on fb with the map project did not get any help, i am more than willing to make others collaborators for the map but no one has wanted to help so nothing has happened. If you all want to run your own map now then thats fine from my point of view, just be noted that where people can add their own markers at will…

Quote from Rayuki: “Quote from Renko: “The map is "kind of" outdated, and when you have cons near you, you will find people that will attend too” Oh, hmm. I didn't pay attention to the date it was posted. ^^' And that's why I want to go so bad, to both of those conventions. I've never seen another kigurumi in person, sadly.” The map is not outdated, it is updated regularly with people who ask to be added to the map. It just looks out dated as you know their is more kigs than what is on the map, …

In general people do not put their work on sales like every other shop. This is as it takes a lot of time and effort to make the masks/skinsuits and a lot of the time the price they charge is the minimum they will charge already. Yes you might find masks cheaper if you buy a second hand mask or a ex display mask but they are hard to find, their is generally not a space where people advertise they are selling them, you just got to keep looking. Black Friday will be better for buying outfits or eq…

Is it just me, or is hair not a accessory or prop for kig? Would be easier to move them links into a new thready on "wig help" or something.

Quote from ichigo_kig: “Quote from Fuusen: “Ichigo, If it's your Ayame (or am I mixing with Nikushimisan ?) don't forget to buy spare gloves from her. Perfect for cams and when you touch dirty things.” Yes you mixed me up, I only Kig Ichigo!” By Ayame it was meant from the maker called Ayame, and not a character called that. When you order a skinsuit from them you can order separate hands and im guessing if you ask nicely you can order multiple pairs.

GKO is meant to be quite good, and at least that way you know the skin color will match.

Hello all. Guess it is about time that I make a thread dedicated to this here. As some of you will know, this is my KMP project, the aim of the project is to try to create a list of where people are in a format that is easy for people to understand, so whats better than a map allowing you to see where people are even if you don't recognize the name of their town. I decided it would be a good idea to make a list (in some sense or other) of kigs, their location and their contact details as this wi…

Quote from Meerah: “ around 20 seen a MCM” The original question was about North America, not the northern hemisphere..... Out of the 25+ people who attended MCM recently, I think all were Europeans. I would say, based on people who attend cons (and not the people who are online....) I would say around 20 or so regular attendees (more than 1 con a year). Without looking into it further (which I cant be asked to do at the moment) I cant really give a better idea. You can always start a kig watch …

Well, first of all, im going to use this opportunity to advertise my map which can let you see who might be close to you from the existing members within the community (that has asked to be added to the map) as this will give you a good chance to find existing local people to meet up with and hang around with. Now as for getting more people, thats a tough one, I would really say try to talk to people local to you who you think might be interested, maybe find a local cosplay group and start atten…

Quote: “Have the expenses of dressing up, rising ticket prices, price gouged hotels, and parking costs to attend these costly conventions made it financially unfeasible for people to actually spend money on exhibitors anymore?” This i find is a interesting point, it works in both directions and is not just as stated, do people have money left to spend but is also about the people their to sell stuff needs to sell more to cover the cost of going. Lets look at hotels quickly, they provide a decen…
