Quote from kaori1531: “The 2B mask is literally the model taken from the game and 3D printed (aka prone to warping, cheap material), not worth that high price tag for a mass-manufactured mask as you easily could get that done at any 3D print service using the same 3D model. Also, most makers offer full-lock masks nowadays so it isn't anything special and even Maniajuns offers blinking eyes. ” As someone who owns the mask and the game, I'm fairly sure it's not the model ripped from the game. And …

I have gotten masks from Wyu. Most recently the 2B mask with solid hair attachment. It's not a blinker, so I can't attest to that functionality. But I am overall pleased with the quality and would say it was worth the price to me.

I play FFXIV too! I thought about getting a mask of my character but never did. And recently I fantasia'd from miqo'te to hyur so it's probably good I didn't. ^^; I'm aware of a few Final Fantasy catgirl masks. Mostly mithras from FFXI though, but they look pretty similar except they have brown noses. youtube.com/watch?v=u6b4g66V4xA youtube.com/watch?v=Q-uBFIxHDrI The only FFXIV mask I can think of is Morrigan's Y'shtola : x9sdgYt.jpg

Quote from Senkan: “ You better believe that there ARE people out there that will say, "I like this kigurumi hobby because it's really cool. But no, I really don't care about maintaining some of an "illusion". I'm just here to have fun and enjoyment. Plus, I enjoy sharing my kig hobby experience to other people." Thus, the casual hobbyists.” It seems like a weird thing to say. The purpose of wearing a mask is illusion. Hiding your real face and becoming someone else. If they don't care about ill…

Quote from Senkan: “Think of this scenario for example: There is a single group of kigs of both professionals and casuals out on the public and some people, with piqued curiosity, wants more information on animegao. Let the casuals handle the all the talking and personal interactions with the public. Let the professionals do all the posing and photoshoots with the people. And let the handlers provide the support and behind-the-scenes assistance to the kigs. Divide & conquer. ” But consider this …

(ex. let other people wear the mask and take selfies) ” Maybe I'm just too far out of the loop but I haven't heard of more than one or two people doing any of these things. Are these actually common t…

I had an account before my current one that was just closed with no way to appeal or anything. It made me pretty mad. I assume it was because I used the name "Poke" and Facebook pokes are a thing, so maybe they had a lot of fake accounts with poke in the name or something. When I tried to make my current account it wouldn't let me have "poke" anywhere in the name so I had to get more creative.

Quote from Mariko Kou: “ Apparently, this doesn't qualify as kig because it is a "soft" mask? Animegao masks should be stiff? ” It's not that animegao masks have to be stiff, it's just that most are because it allows them to hold their shape while being much larger than the performer's head. Rubber and latex masks are usually smaller and form-fitting, and anime characters typically have oversized heads, so those masks don't achieve the head/body ratio illusion. So if someone told you that mask i…

It's fishing line mostly so it's not as visible. You could probably do it with string if you wanted, but then it would stand out more. MGUfigV.jpg Wyu's tutorial always showed putting it around the body first and then pulling it over your head, but that never worked for me. Maybe my head is just too big. I always did it the opposite way, like putting on a t-shirt, put it around my neck and then put my arms through the larger loop and pulled it down over the goods.

Cosplay is a creative medium. You can try to be the most accurate Peach ever, or you can be steampunk bunny Peach. The cosplay police aren't going to write you a citation for a mismatched head.

Most zentai will have a closed face, but having eye holes or completely open face doesn't change what it's called. Zentai is short for "zenshin taitsu", which means full body tights. I would guess hadatai means skin tights, like the skin part of a kigurumi costume. Basically a flesh-tone zentai. Zentai has grown in popularity somewhat, a lot of costume stores sell them for halloween or sporting events. Hadatai is a kigurumi specific term, and you'd probably have a hard time finding a store that …
