Quote from NekoKig: “ I wondering why noone else replyed to this Question. Someone whith more experience should do this not me. I only have Theory.” I haven't gotten around to it perhaps? Been doing this for a few years now, reactions are mixed. 80% positive, 15% false positive and the remainder are out and out freak outs. That last 5% are for the most part loud boys in groups which I ignore since they are never in cosplay. The false positives are people (most) who kinda think it is cool but hav…

Great job! The hard part is after the sculpt is printed because then post print processing starts.

@'Ren' 3D rendering software has "default" colors used for sculpting and rendering the sculpts. Most packages will allow you to "paint" color as a skin on the sculpts but has no effect on the prints. That is whatever color you have available on your spool at the time of the print. Here is an example of one of our sculpts that is now in production. kigurumionline.org/index.php/A…46602162c2e57fb4ec2f5956b 冬四 Fuyu-shi

This might be an issue for those not having a place to change out to get into costume kigurumionline.org/index.php/A…46602162c2e57fb4ec2f5956b My advice is to get a hotel room close to the venue and take care of the badge pickup OOC, then return in full costume.

Keep dreaming @NinaKig They'll always be someone that'll tell you it's impossible. I think you should go for it! Yes it might be rough at first but there's no reason what not. I have an associate in Japan that's working on something you might be interested in. twitter.com/A_says_ Not really something you can wear but it is pretty cool watch the progress.

Yes reactions to sharing your interests with those close to you can vary widely from complete acceptance to shear terror on their part. All I can recommend is keep an open mind and proceed with caution.

Someone out in the real world actually put together some solid pointers for those wanting to improve their posing skill sets. Take a look, take one or two at a time and practice them until you embed them to muscle memory and then move onto the next set. goo.gl/photos/1mJhfwmRxSRbCXVh8 Remember to have fun! Nice to see you here @Jenny Kig Just to let you know, I've been ordering online without issues. Shipping takes a little longer but there is time to wait now with all that's going on worldwide. Making your own padding is a great start. Welcome

You can share what you're working on when you're comfortable with doing so @Ribbon-Kitten As you work through the design and start building your project you will flub up but, that's how you learn. Mistakes are so much more time consuming than successes but the learning curve flattens as you go. Hobby away and remember to have fun! That's what we're up to here. That and sharing positive experiences.

Quote from Ribbon-Kitten: “Also if anybody has any input on any of the links or anything to contribute on animatronics in kigurumi cosplay, please do! This needs to be a thing and I didn't know a better way to get people talking about this concept.” Just keep on researching. yeah there will be people giving negative replies but let's not fall into their self absorbed narratives and gaslighting. but we are interested in your progress. that's what this site was created for.

  • User Avatar

That pretty cool progress. Keep us up on your progress.

But, before I begin, I wanted to know what all I need to pull this off right and such. So, thats why I'm asking you people for help on this matter.” A great question that is one of the top 5 questions of new comers to the community. Quote from my415: “ Anyone know how these masks work and who makes this kind of mask? Thanks” Hey @my415 If you're interested in a mouth that does that you're in luck! Most makers can do that type of modification upon request. I'd use the video as an example to show them what you're interested in as an option on an order.

  • User Avatar

Yes those are specialized hairstyles @kigrob and not that many makers create them. I've made a few, a little more involved than non zip styles. They take a bit more maintenance too. They do look great though don't they?
