Just a theory, but maybe you could follow the general idea of this tutorial but with a solid skin color and adjust for any changes you would want in the pattern. youtube.com/watch?v=6GGz8ozzBL8 I would order a single swatch with many different skin tones you are considering before committing to the full suit print though. I think spoonflower.com/cotton_spandex_jersey would be a good choice for your custom zentai. Also you could use your existing zentai as a base for the pattern youtube.com/watch…

Quote from Jenny Kig: “LARP is Live Action Role Play. Think dungeons and dragons but with real people acting things out. There are battles with foam covered weapons for combat, intrigue, stories... It can be a lot of fun. I've seen people in full suits of armor going at it and it's very much about you playing a role. It is not NSFW stuff.” Yup pretty much There are LARPs for everything almost, but anime themed stuff is really niche and hard to find if impossible to find. There's this one Magical…

Thank you 'NinaKig'! I found this useful youtube channel for these specific masks http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiiHUxMNnj9PUdZOtMuKdsQ and I found a place online selling individual mouth caps by themselves. http://secretlatex.com/mouth-sheath-and-nose-tubes-latex-set-536-p.asp Has anyone tried using transparency paper wikihow.com/Print-Transparencies to make printed eye inserts for the crystal eyes by some chance? The closest thing I can find is tutorials like this which use normal copy paper…

I found this www.munimuni.jp/features and I was curious about how easy/hard it may be to customize them. I tried searching the forum but didn't get any results. In particular, anyone try reshaping them with a heat gun successfully? Or even welding? 2 of them together to further customize them? Like the top and bottom half of two different models to get a unique face shape. Also, does anyone know how to get this mouth cap feature in one of these masks? http://www.amazon.com/Silicone-Pull-Over-Cor…

Quote from NinaKig: “I actually found a flexible screen that i could use, although i don't know the price as you would have to ask for a quote, but i will eventually, but it is a flexible OLED screen, so it should be able to show a high quality image/video of the face/ expressions” Do you know anything about this monitor by some chance? Could it be made flexible?

I can't remember which specific one, but I remember Disney made an Elsa animatronic for one of their rides that did pretty much this idea I think. I want to say it was this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8OHP9OriMA (Around 3:30 in) But I am not 100% sure if this is what I was thinking of. I don't think the tech is 100% there to be believable yet at a decent cost, as they used it from a distance in low lighting. I get this nagging feeling I am linking the wrong version though. cici thanks fo…

Mentioned voice changing in another thread. Voice changing can be done with an old android phone, this app play.google.com/store/apps/det…om.mikrosonic.RoboVoxLite and a WIRED headset, with instructions here http://www.reddit.com/r/cosplayers/comments/3k93y0/help_voice_changers/ Quote from Miss Kiki: “Animegao Kig characters being able to speak IS A BIG STEP. Ok, really long post with lots of links and images incoming. But first here is a link to a video of that mask in action. Like I already mentioned before, not my aesthetic BUT the potential here is amazing. makingtoothcostume.tumblr.com/…making-this-head-it-looks (Hidden Content) With enough of that tumblr out of the way, here is more of what I have found from obsessively googling on the topic. Forgot all about this guys tutorial series. AMAZING for beginners and super friendly tone. Shame about …

Really glad this kind of thing is accepted here! The main reason I didn't make an account here for so long was I was nervous that this wasn't acceptable to post here. I appreciate mainstream kigurumi, and how hard it is to be the character with only one facial expression, but I have always wanted an animatronic fursuit since I can remember. I really don't like the art style of this costume, but I really appreciate the craftmanship and other things documented on the maker's tumblr. http://makingt…

I was wondering what people's opinions of this sort of cosplay are and if it is considered kigurumi. I don't think I saw a discussion on here about this epic Toothiana cosplay, so now here's one. Personally, this and a voice changer is more my style than the traditional static kigurumi masks. youtube.com/watch?v=nAcaZbrbgSY
