If you're kigging in public or at a con (when they start happening again) then it's best to have a handler with you - they can carry supplies like water and hair brushes etc, and can take photos of you so you don't have to mess around with hada fingers! With that in mind, if you're thirsty then have your handler escort you to a quiet corner somewhere so you can discreetly have a drink, probably with a straw in a water bottle to avoid dribbling on your hada and costume. Water is probably best - a…

Hi! Thanks for the responses and advice! I've shaved off a little more material and smoothed out the transition between the thigh and knee as suggested, and I feel they look a lot better now! However I think I might need more padding on my butt to make it look right from behind... That would obviously mean starting again, but it's important I get this right! What do you think? If I create a new set of pads, how should the butt portion be shaped? Pictures here: imgur.com/a/EBKiol2

Hi! Firstly, I apologize if this isn't the right place for this thread, or if even this is something I should be sharing here - please move / delete as appropriate. I am so very new to all this, so I don't really know what any of the protocol is for sharing this kind of thing! Anyway, I'm currently working on my first set of hip pads, and I feel like I need some feedback on them. It's been suggested that I have probably made them too big... I can always remove more material but I can't put it ba…

Oh gosh, do I play some games... I do a lot of tabletop gaming; Warhammer 40k, Wild West Exodus, Infinity, X-Wing and Dropzone Commander are all semi-regular. Yes I spend far too much time painting my figures. Yes I am a huge nerd. ^^;; I also play tabletop RPGs! Currently I'm playing Star Trek Adventures on Roll20, D&D 5th Edition, 13th Age, and I am currently GMing a game using the Stars Without Number rules in the Fragged Empire setting. On the PC I mostly play Warframe, but I also occasional…

If I'm being honest with myself, the first anime I ever watched was probably Pokémon... But the first one I appreciated on a level beyond 'this is a fun cartoon!' was Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040. Interesting to see how many others here also list Pokémon as their first anime experience~

Hi! I'm a newbie from the UK! I've enjoyed kig from an outside aesthetic perspective for a while. My first exposure to kigurumi was from a friend I have known for a very long time, and since then I've made other friends in unrelated communities who are also into it, and there's one or two performers who's work I have found utterly captivating! So um a little while ago, around this time last year in fact, I started to think to myself "... I want to do that too... Is it even something I would be c…
