I can't figure out a way to display my kigurumi temporarily for a short convention panel on kigurumi. I was thinking about using a mannequin but I'm afraid it may damage the bodysuit. Any suggestions would help.
Two thoughts. Either set the whole costume, hadatai, and Mask on the table in front of you, so you can pick each piece up as needed, OR get someone to model the whole outfit and show off each piece as mentioned.
I would say the best way is to do a kig panel with a good spokesperson and wear your kig so you can turn around, and show off the pieces being talked about.
Get a tripod/ light stand and put the mask on that.
if it's tall enough you can put your cosplay on hangers and hang it directly under the mask in the proper configuration.
I think a mannequin would be great to use, but usually they have a peg that needs to go through a pant leg, under a shirt in the back or through the sole of a foot to support it which would require putting a hole in your hadatai, but i don't see why you can't just display the hadatai separately.
